Perhaps, in a perfect world, but at the time, I left the name with the vet and thats how he got recorded. So, he is Foffard... but mostly just Mouse. Mouser or any of the above.

And no, it would never be and the... Tsunami obviously caught the reference to the protagonist in a series of books....
