UH 2 bugs i think

Tjoppp  Just ina a sudden my monks deflect arrow seems to not function at al.... Ruste

and the spell Improved Invicible seems to work as normal invicible  i,e i go invic but after first  attack it disepears(spelling eh) Kurtz  read spelltweak and it say nothing so... should work eh?

The Deflect Arrow feat only works if you're using no weapons, no shields, and only works once a round based on a reflex save. Any number of those can cause Deflect Arrow to not work. If neither of those are the culprit, let us know and we'll take a look.

Improved Invisibility works as it originally did. When you attack, the Invisibility buff is removed, but the 50% comcealment bonus remains. Otherwise, the mobs would have a hard time attacking back with their AI screwing up.

well as delfect arrow..i used to se the save as iam playing a monk........ the savecheck is gone... so no delfect arrow is working.....

as for improved invis.. i get no misses from my 50 % invis.. so it is not working.. i grab you in game  .. i will try again and se if it fixed itself with resett of server...


was in to day with my monk : I recived NO exp from fallen battlemaster . Am i to LOW lvl to recive exp from them??

heyya Did Illpi isle now..

I tryed to stand in fron of the gnoll archers..unarmed as they sprayed me pc(monk). No save deflect at al.. after 5 or 6 hits from they i turned and ran... when i was almost gone from theire sight i got 1 (sic!) save when i was running with my back towards them.. Tryed again against a solo archer but NO saves whats so ever..shall i remove my gloves..? ;=)  It was strange that i got 1 save at al...so something is ..amiss..... Alk

I think if you're just standing still you count as just flatfooted, and you might not get the save. You might need to either be moving(running, whatever), or attacking/casting.

Good eye. I checked around on the NWN Wikia to make sure this was the case. According to this page on Deflect Arrows, it won't work when caught flat-footed. Silly enough, standing still and performing absolutely no action counts as being 'flat-footed' as well, even if you do see and notice your target (See here). This may have your problem, since it only triggered while you were running away.

This also leads into an engine issue where sometimes the character will disengage because their target became unreachable and stands there like a doofus, becoming flat-footed by everything around them. It sucks, but I guess that's its way of keeping you on your toes.

thx for feedback..

back to first post ..This was discovered when fighting..of course,,and i did not get any saves even when fighting this time either.. does gnoll archers have a feat that makes deflect unusable?

Regarding the fallen battlemasters. They are a bad spawn. Or creature, whichever.
They never give exp, because presumably they are about the same CR as a badger or rat, much much tougher, and only spawnable when your too high level to get exp from em. I blame.. Tailsie.

As for battlemaster.. strange to have them spawn on lv 2 dungeons when  on lv1 dungeon the cryptwarriors is 70  exp  something.... Alk

Oh yes. They are usually replaced by vampire mages, but occasionally they spawn. There is a few levels there where you're not supposed to be in the dungeon, "really", but you still can. That is when you get those things.
I blame it being a really old dungeon that hasn't been touched up in ages. And also Tailsie.

/ well i was counting on vampiremages,,,, was hoping on dying..i.e short fast ride back to camp and go down fighting.. asi hade only 100 gold aftr my visit to the elfes was a cheap and fast tripp //   ::)

I will try again ...dunno if i stand a chanse against vamp mages... /ALK
