So, what's up?
« on: July 14, 2012, 07:22:41 PM »
Haven't been here in a couple of years, got the itch to RP on something that isn't an MMO grindfest and noticed this place is still around.

Now, I'm reinstalling the game, what mods and portrait packs can you reccomend?

For those of you who don't remember me, don't worry, I was a pretty quiet guy, don't expect you to remember every small-timer around.

Hey there, old old timer!  Welcome back!

You'll want to grab CEP.  I think the mod may be on 2.3.  I'm not positive.  Been out of that loop too long.  But 2.4 is the latest and should be fine as they're usually backwards compatible.  Nothing else is required to play.

Zippy maintained the portrait pack with all of the pictures everyone submitted to her.  Get that and you should be able to see just about everyone.

Happy RPin'!

Yeah, got that portrait pack and about 30 others but still haven't found the portrait I used for Azala Kaede. Oh well, back to grinding the vault. =/

Would be a lot easier if I actually knew how the portrait looked. If anyone got a screenshot from that time(2008 and before that) it'd be awesome but that's just me dreaming.

I don't have an 08 screenshots but the filename for the portail is aoi_ if that helps.

It helps, makes it a lot easier to just search through the packs I download.

If people could check their portrait folder for the portrait then I'd love to have it mailed to me at emilfen at gmail dot com =)

EDIT: Found the source image for the portrait here. I'm shit with resizing and stuff but if someone could help me make it NWN-ish then it'd be awesome. In the meantime, I'm still searching for the actual portrait. ;)

Made a new portrait with the same base image and with the same filename since the old one isn't around anymore, apparently.

Email it to me or Zippy and we'll incorporate it into the portrait pack. Sooner or later. Eventually. Maybe within the next century or so.

Already emailed it to Zippy, if you want I could send it to you as well in case she isn't active in uploading it anymore.

Anyway, was online only briefly and nice to see some old faces(even if that automatic nerfer kinda dicked with my epic short sword I'm saving for a rainy day >=/).

Esther's got an epic short sword she's been saving for someone who needs it. Befriend her and she might just give/sell it to ya :P
On another note, Zippy still handles the portraits. I'm just helping compile the ones we're still missing.
