I want to resurrect an old topic that seems to have died many years ago.  If there is something that you would like to see on Legacy or some rules that you want changed or clarified. We cant change everything and all will still need to go through the proper channels. I just want to hear what you guys want out of the staff and out of the server to make it more fun for everyone.

(please be constructive)

Personally, I think we need to get some more story action going on.

Dungeon variety is great too, but I think we should focus in that regard on adding new areas, rather than revamping/removing old ones which seem flawed (unless they are so flawed as to be really stupid)

Last, but DEFINITELY not least: Maybe stealth items could just be restricted to cloaks and boots? They make more sense than an amulet - and unlike a stealth amulet, they don't necessarily cripple the armor class which dex characters need so badly.
Two to tango, one to sin.

Agreed.  Amulet is too valuable a slot to be using on a stealth item.  You could be removing a talisman of good/evil or amulet of power for instance.  And boots/cloaks make more sense as stealth items obviously.

Definitely new areas but not replacements. The same ones are used so often it's like queuing for the toilet at parties, and there's plenty of areas free to put them in.

Also, now the war with Luskan's over I'd assume the blockade of Mirabar's port has been lifted. Maybe allow ship travel to and from Neverwinter?

I think the reason people are queuing up is that only a few places are considered worth going to. We have a bunch of dungeons that never see any use. In my opinion the best thing for the server is to fix those up and balance things out so that all our areas are worth having and going to. That way we preserve server history and make the most of our module size.

New stuff is welcomed as well, but we're rather short on active builders  :(

You could redo the entrance to signify the rebirth of the server.

Lipalli should have more stylised drinks in the lodge. You know, with coconuts and umbrellas.

A world map maybe? Kinda gets a bit fussy trying to figure out where places are and the routes to get to them, especially trying to find some new places to go.

As a member of a group kind of rediscovering the alternatives to the House, I have to say the excavation site and the forgotten temple are two excellent dungeons.

However, I think Lord Zin needs to be nerfed for the temple to be suitable for the high-teen level parties: he's definitely an opponent for epic parties, and they probably wouldn't bother going down there.

Ill see what we can do about this one, I know what you mean. It took Lucian, Kate, and a Pyro (I think) around 15 mins to beat him and Lucian died twice.

Only problem I see with making maps. (only my opinion)

What do you do with new people (lets not kid ourselves, most new players are old players) but fact is, new peolpe, should have no idea where the dungeons, or merchants for that matter are.

It is hard starting a new character in a place you have been playing for years I understand, but, you ruin it for people who have never been here, don't know the whole scope of tings, and have to learn as you did, where everything is.

I could understand a rough map of how to get from say neverwinter woods to port llast for low level Characters.

Thus being said, a rough map, not denoting the stops along the way, just a basic layout of the road that somewhat remains would do.

Don't ruin it for people just starting out.

Is there any way to make the maps level resricted?
If so, make a map (or a few different maps) for basic areas, how to get from the camp to this town, from this town to this town... and so on...but put a restriction on maps leading to dungeons or crypts, or forts.

I don't know if that is possible, but would seem a bit more realistic, seeing how, a merchant isn't going to give a map to the minotaur cave to a first level cleric, based on good intent.

Maybe what I am saying doesn't make any sense... but if even a fraction of it does, reply, with your thoughts...

Again, this is only My opinion.
