Understandable. NWN2 has been far too buggy to really do anything with right now. I can barely play on the lowest possible settings as it is. I don't even want to try to build with it...

For those still interested, I have a working, dedicated server machine that could host LOTN2. As soon as I get my NWN2 comp back, we could take up development again.

Ideally we would need both NWN2 and its expansion, as the later greatly improves performance (compared with NWN2 1.10).

As far as I understand it, last LotN2 development was indefinitely on hold.

Speaking for myself only, I have no objections to seeing an NWN2-based LotN2. I just wouldn't be hosting it or building it. I might or might not play on it. Having to shell out cash for an expansion to get the features and fixes that should have been in the box for the original game ... well, that sticks in my craw a bit.

If there's any real interest among people capable of building the world, I'll take it up with the rest of the DM staff.

Something that might make the pill pass a little better, is that for example on Amazon you can get both the game and expansion for 50 USD. I think other shops do the same kind of deals, or sell the original NWN2 as cheap as the expansion, if not cheaper.
