If no one knows what sequencer robes are, they're robes that already exist in the engine that allow you to store up to 3 spells depending on the particular sequencer effect into the robes which can all be fired at once at will.

... I'm probably way wrong on this, but weren't/aren't those in... Diablo, I think? I know you can like stick shit... in your weapons/armor/shields to make them do cooler stuff.

Nah, different things.

A sequencer robe could, for example, cast 3 stored fireballs with a single click. Or 1 stoneskin, 1 Ghostly Visage, and 1 Improved Invisibility...

Way too abuseable.

Neat ability to have for mages, but definately agree here.

seems to me like mages are already the big dawgs on the server. why increase the gap between them and your average melee class?

Never been difficult to level in LOTN, though. :P Just the way it is, people know the XP spots now.

Ah, but you're forgetting something... Other classes can use them too. For instance, a Rogue Fighter could get stoneskin put on one (assuming it's only a one spell cast item) and use it once per rest. Mages benefit the /least/ from these, as they already have the spells.

Sequencer doesn't exactly work that way.

It stores the spell, so you just spend one spell you get, per day, so it goes into the item.

Once you use it, it's uncharged, and the sequencer property requires another spell to be stored, so you'd have to spend another spell you get, per day.

It's more as a last resort.

Unless it changed on me...
