I work on a rota, so my days vary. I'm fairly flexible in my hours unless it's a 'school night'. Usually for me it's early morning (6am to 10pm GMT) and evenings (5pm GMT to however-long-I-can-stay-awake).

Weekends are a problem since Saturdays are pnp roleplaying nights, which can run late into the night (8pm to 2am GMT).

Would using LotN's Facebook for notifications help?

They say practice makes perfect!  :)

The important thing was it wasn't a 'players stand around and watch things happen' quest. Everyone had a job to do and that's the sign of a good adventure to me.

I'd imagine the good/evil thing being intelligent magical items. High UMD skills fool the item into believing their owner is someone they're not.

Wands and scrolls are already magically infused, so I can imagine a rogue reciting phrases he has no understanding of to activate them.

I pretty much agree with everything you said there, Tails. My main concern was that Rangers have few spells so could do with a stock of scrolls. They rarely have a spare feat to spend on Scribe Scroll if they want to keep up with other frontline fighters. Also, there are specific scrolls I'd imagine churches to provide that seem noticeable in their absence such as restoration spells.

A good stock of consumables must surely be a good thing provided balance is maintained. It keeps players spending their gold and so encourages further adventuring.

I'm wondering why the Thieves' Guild provides its members with all the UMD goodness they could wish for, but rangers can't get ranger scrolls and clerics can't get many cleric scrolls.

Like I said, just wondering...  :P

Character: Mariania Dracovna

Change: Replace levels in Paladin for Monk

Reason: I only took Paladin because I wanted a Mongol-style warrior and horses weren't available for anyone else! Now Mari's struggling with levels meant for a heavy armour fighter and little means of increasing her AC to a workable level. Monk will suit her role as she rides around the world like Cain. If he'd had a horse.

Hi,

I made a good amount of items to add to the server and I'm wondering how many of them made it to the server. If anyone wants the .erf files I could send them or compile a list of nametags.

It was around 5 years(!) when I did these and it looks like I got bored and stopped at around the 11-13th level range... :/
