From the NWN2 website news page ... there's a fairly recent (March 29th) interview with J.E. Sawyer, NWN2's Lead Designer, here --> http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/neverwinternights2/news.html?sid=6146811

The second page has what little info there is on multiplayer concerns. *sigh* Sounds like we're going to have a nifty toolset, but it doesn't sound like much will be added in the way of scripting. Ah well. Sounds like PW's will play just as well as in NWN1, and now they'll look really neat!

Heh. Alright, those of you who didn't figure out this was an April Fool's Day joke from Wizards of the Coast need to invest some serious skill points in Sense Motive.

On the old forums, I think there was a note somewhere on  what the maximum signature and avatar sizes were. I don't see that information noted on these new forums. Could we get a forum FAQ item added for that, please?

Just an FYI from experience being a MOD for game developers: Don't trust any source for a release date besides the developer/publisher itself. It doesn't matter if it's Amazon.com, IGN, Gamestop or anybody. They're all assumed dates and very rarely accurate.

EB Games lists the release date as September 1, 2006 ... for those who want another meaningless, wildly-inaccurate date to mull over.  :)

*blushes and digs toe in the dirt* Aww, shucks.

Props to Moff anyway for shoehorning my messy first-timer scripting into the verdant jungle of the existing LotN script system.

Technical Support / Not exactly a problem...

I've seen a very similar message from a bad CMOS battery. That's easy to fix, costs a couple bucks for it. You just have to change the battery, and reset the CMOS settings.

But if the machine is new or nearly-new, make the dude fix it. No reason for you to have to deal with it.

Especially if it IS a SMART error and your hard drive IS dying.
