OK, I rewrote a bunch of stuff and tested it. I'm not having the failure to reload problem that you reported, Tails. Post here if you find it's not cleared up.

- Fixed timer problems with module autoreload. Postpone now delays the reload by 4 realtime hours.

- Removed the player rest menu option to leave a message for the DM's. It was a rather awkward system to use and for DM's to check, and forum posts permit much more flexibility.
- Added an automated module reload option. The game module will automatically reload (reset) every 2 real-world days. In case this proves inconvenient for a player, there is an option on the player rest menu to postpone the reload. The option only appears one hour before the reload is scheduled.

- a horse merchant now stands on the north bank of the river, north of the city of Neverwinter.
(We do know of some problems with the horse system - buy from the guy at your own risk! Fixes forthcoming, hopefully within a couple days.)

A little off topic, but doesn't NWN now have a SetDescription script function as of 1.69? You could make an item that a player could set their own description instead of having to use Leto if it is causing problems. Or put it in the rest menu?

It is my understanding, and documented by Bioware, that SetDescription() cannot be used to change a PC's description. Works on placeables and items and NPC's, but not player characters.

While I'm not opposed to a general Spellplague-like event, we should keep in mind that many of the aftereffects of the Spellplague would be difficult to implement using NWN. Part of the reason for the D&D 4e design team coming up with the Spellplague was to give a good IC reason for the major changes to the mechanics of magic that they wanted to make. We are stuck with the NWN engine's mechanics for whatever changes we make, or else we have to construct a major framework of new mechanics and change the scripts for almost every spell.

Some of the features of the Spellplague and D&D 4e canon are easier to introduce than others. Some mechanics aren't that hard to change. Other changes would be very difficult to actually implement, but could be RP'ed fairly easily.

Path has stepped up and volunteered to try his hand as guest DM. Due to limited staff availability, we're taking the training wheels off pretty early in his run, so please go easy on him, 'kay?

Feel free to offer constructive criticism to him in game. And please don't beg him for über lewt: he's forbidden to open the gates to the candy vault. You'll have to settle for shiny lewt instead, it's all he's authorized to give.
