Technical Support / Problem with my CEP
« on: October 26, 2006, 08:04:16 PM »
When I installed my Cep 2 patch, all of the white words in my connection box were gone as well as the words when choosing my character and checking his stats in game. Is there a fix? Has anyone else had this problem?

Player's Corner / Shifter Speech
« on: June 26, 2006, 11:27:32 PM »
Ok i have heard this question about 5 times now, when are shifters able to speak in their differant form.

According to the Master of the Wild book, i found nothing that indicates that they can. I am postive that the people at Wizards did redo the class and allow them to around second lvl, but I cant find which book thats in.

Anyone?  :?

Ok now this maybe alittle extreme for some of the younger people, but those with open minds and a good sense of humor should get a kick out of it.

General Discussion / Questions?
« on: June 07, 2006, 12:17:11 AM »
So I was thinking about something, there are alot of new people here and Ive just returned so why not get to know them. Ask a generalized question, like what kind of salad  dressing do you like or something mundane like that. Could be fun.

Who is your favorite superhero?

Im still trying to get some projects done, but those are being put second to the school projects that have been stacking up. So sorry to everyone. I hope to see you all as soon as I can.

General Discussion / Time to Complain
« on: February 20, 2006, 11:14:32 AM »
Ive been kicking around the idea of starting a forum of my own up for people to just basically blow off steam. But then i figured why not use what we have here. I mean there should be rules, no name calling and basically be respectful. But just have at it. If you having a bad day just b*tch about it.

Information / Relationships
« on: February 18, 2006, 11:15:31 PM »
This is what the People at Valar have to say on the relationships of the base races. not that with this i am not trying to limit how you RP your relations with your characters. this is just something that i found amusing.

Dwarves

"love is like stone"

Dwarves tend toward homospecies, heterosexuality, and monogomy. They usually choose one dwarf of the opposite sex and bond for life. Marriage is respected in the dwarven communities and held as a sacred vow. The community elders arrange most marriages. Love is an emotion dutifully cultivated within marriage. it does not come easily and requires much skill and shaping

Elves

"Love is like summer"

Elves enjpy life and love. They tend to share themselves sexually and emotionally with the elves, half-elves, and humans of either gender. Their sexual relationsips tend to be extensions of deep friendship. Sex is a form of sharing between two persons. the sexual aspect of the relationship tends to be transitory, lasting from a single encounter of a few hours to and ongoing affiliation of a few decades, both relatively short periods in an elf's long life. The friendships tend to last much longer.
The traditional concept of marriage, swearing to spend ones life with just one person, amuses elves who often cant understand why one would willingly repress himself or herself in such a manner. Elves as a species view the concept of eternal love as one of the greatest hoaxes of the universe.

(this is the elven view from the Book of Erotic fantasy there are others....

Gnome

"Loves is a toy."

Gnomes tend toward homospecies, and bisexuality. They like to have fun in a relationship and also view the concept of traditional marriage as a joke. Most gnomes tend to have many wives and husbands, although most stick to two "primaries" in order to avoid too much confusion.

Half-Elves

"Love is awkward'

Becuase of their heritage of both elf and human many half-elves tend to grow up confused and are prone to living lives of celibacy. They generally tend to adapt to the society in which they live. If they grew up in an elven community they tend to view love, sexuality and marriage as the elves do. If they grew up in a human community then they tend toward the human norms of marriage, sexuality, and love.

Half-Orc

"Love is sex"

Half-Orcs have a much easier time than half-elves. The tend to be able to keep up with their peers in either society in which they live. Half-orcs, because if their brutish nature, dont believe in the concept of love. They tend instead toward and emotionless single sexual encounter and then all is done and over with.If raised in a human community some half-orcs can find a partner that will overlook their apperance and will supress their feral inclinations for that person.

Halfling

"Love is sharing"

Community is central to life in halfling society. Love and acceptance flourish. they frequently copulate with others they merely like, or enjoy the company of. Halflings reach sexual maturity between 18-25 years, often culminating in a massive party in which the youth is set up with a willing partner, chosen by the rest of the clan. Like gnomes, halflings tend to group marriages and are very sexual open.

Humans

"Love is......"

Humans are the most diverse of all other humanoids. All forms of love and sexuality are common. Human society though tends to be very restrictive. Depending on the culture the taboos may become a big problem.

For those that are interested there is a table for chance of pregnancy

Celestial  100%
fiend       100%
Dwarf       10%
Elf             5%
Gnome      15%
Halfling      20%
Human      20%
