Because you had the server turned off for an extended period of time, and someone loaded up another device (looks like your brothers laptop) it changed local ip addresses.  I'll fix this now.
You might want to get someone more experienced than myself, such as tsu, to set up IP leases for a longer period of time.

edit: All is working now.

Hurrah, the server's back! Though, just one more problem... Someone switched it to "One Party Only", so everyone joins one big party whenever they get on. Might need to change that.

Big happy family got divorced, and now can have multiple parties again.

The server seems to have crashed today AOA 15:55 EDT. It was running very "laggy", prior to the crash.

The game server, which had been down for a bit, is now back up and accessible on Gamespy.

I can see it on Gamespy, now, but it is very slow to connect, and direct connecting doesn't seem to work, any more.

Criminy. I rebooted the router and the server, and it's slower than ever! Joc, go check the line for wallabies gnawing on it, willya?

Did you change any physical stuff when you got your new modem? LAN cable? Phone line cable?

edit: I'm not even sure if my questions are relevant since I did a speedtest and it seems to run fine.  Why is it happening for NWN only? :(

I guess that rules out international lines being the problem? That's a whole lot of hops though!

On another note if there is something sitting on the keyboard IRL can you please take it off? It's holding down the ctrl button making it impossible to do anything!

Ctrl button? Crabcakes doesn't even have a keyboard plugged in!

There were no physical changes besides the modem-router itself. The Ethernet line between it and LotN is fairly long i suppose, but its the same one that was used before the new router.

During the wallaby check though, i did notice the blue cord was looped several times around a power cord. I've heard tangled cables can interfere with the signal. I dont suppose anything is better now that that is fixed?

OOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooohhhhh.... Okay, i think i worked out what might be causing the lag.  :-\

Quote from: My ISP
Current Account Usage:     12,054MB
Current Usage Allowance:    12GB, then slowed

Explains why you got as far as LotN before the lag kicked in, while i had no lag playing over my home network. No more yoochoobin for me. It should speed back up on the 23rd  :-[

The server will be down for about an hour or so to apply some updates.  Thanks for your patience!
