Meanwhile, inside the Bat Cave....

Ahhhhh!  Bat aggro!

The bats!  The bats!  The bats!

The bats...made a pretty attractive pattern when all was said and done.  :)

So what fancy screenshots have you taken, just for grins?  ;D

Abigail and the gang traveling through Mirabar had a menacing combat dummy stalking them the entire way. Upon exiting the Crags and finding it one last time, Abigail decided to end it once and for all. (Click for text)

Angelis is such a drama queen (Apologies, it's only the chat. Use your imagination!)

Because I have a thing for reaching the next level through certain mundane means...

And finally, getting the local wildlife in the camp drunk.

I've got plenty of screenshots to wade through for Neverwinter Nights alone. Should I start sharing stuff from other games, too? :D

That poor badger!  He trusted you and your Animal Empathy to keep him safe from public humiliation, too.  :P

So which DM was manning the buckethead, anyway?  :)

Mr. Blatantly Obvious was the delightful brainchild of yours truly.

I would, if we had more active players for me to torment!

Anyway, time for me to contribute!

I got stuck flying up here. I actually had to get nudged down.

This happens more often than you'd think.

She tripped and fell! We swear!

Guess who won?

Daisuke dual-wielding a greatsword and katana at the same time. Sweet!

Well... S***.

More flying. This time it's a gnome. Typical.

That's one big robe.

So Pibbly got a quest from this Travis guy.  Then she walked outside.

Easiest.  Quest.  Ever.

As fortune saw fit, Travis deigned to give unto Pibbly the same quest again.

Fortunately, Niccolo hadn't gone too far.

Then Travis changed his mind and sent Pibbly to deliver some cloth to Sansa and Arya Stark Spindlethrift in Mirabar.  Ah, well.  The gravy train was delicious while it lasted.  :)

lmao, Niccolo isn't supposed to even be there. Someone must have attacked him to lure him over or something. Or cheated and DM ported him there. *looks suspiciously at the other DMs*

Actually, he DOES go to that area sometimes. I've seen it several times already, and I swear no DM intervention was involved. :P Check his waypoints and that he isn't transitioning randomly?

It is possible that his random wander moved him into a transition, but highly unlikely.

Behold THIS!

It's just Marrelina, once again asserting that Monks are premier mage-killers.

"Overpowering," it says.

And yet it didn't even come close to killing her!  I wish I knew how much of that damage she took was from A) the Lesser Beholder peppering her with spells from across the room, and/or B) the Fire Elemental she ran into just down the hall beforehand.

(Also, how would I go about having a new portrait for Marrelina LETO'ed in?)

Too bad his loot was surprisingly crappy, though.

Eat my feet, beholder scum!   8)

Probably Sakes' Fault

So Pibbly finally got what she needed to pick a DC 50 lock.  Naturally, she chose the safe in the Rogues' Guild...you know, the one that's right in front of Shiv.  Shiv didn't seem to mind as Pibbly cracked the safe and found this inside:

What the hell, Sakes?   :o

And why am I afraid to try this thing?

Yummy Nummies in My Tummy

The Cornucopia has to be the most underappreciated tavern in LotN, if not in NWN as a whole.  It's a cozy little tavern that fits inside a vardo inside a halfling village.  What's not to love?

It's not the food, that's for sure.  You have to love the food!

Mmm.  Smooth and creamy mushroom stew.

Mmm.  Seasoned pork, wrapped in bacon.  Bonus.

Mmm.  Meaty fruitbread.

Mmm.  Mushrooms and buttery brown gravy.

...   ???

BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!   ;D

It's like getting splashed with a bucket of cold water while you're making out with someone!  Thanks for killing the mood, potato!   :D

Speak Not To Me of Pain
« Reply #13 on: November 23, 2016, 08:23:58 AM »

Don't mind me.  I just decided to do a little bellyaching about Priestess Alena's lengthy chat tree while I was playing my Monk.  Marrelina visits the House of Pleasure and Pain quite a bit because Marrelina's a hardcore Loviatan and it's the only house of Loviatar in a hundred leagues.  Then Marrelina complains at length about the House's complete lack of a proper torture chamber while she's picking up some supplies from Alena, so my kvetching fits.   :P

I think Tails was amused with my rant.   ;)

Quivering Bandits
« Reply #14 on: November 23, 2016, 08:36:15 AM »

You know those Half-Orc Bandits that pop up in about 90% of the bandit spawns on this server, infesting the Sword Coast like dope dealers at a Phish concert?  Those guys used to scare me to death back when Marrelina was Level 8 or 10-ish.  Now she's Level Late-Teens, and one good Quivering Palm shuts them down cold.  And "one good Quivering Palm" equals about 50% of all Q-Palms dispensed, so a 1 in 2 chance of the Half-Orc Bandit getting instantly wrecked.  Bandit Chiefs are only slightly more resilient.

Get a job, stoner!   :P
